Vivo X80 & X80 Pro Series Hands On | The Camera Smartphone

The regular X 80 I just got yesterday evening. So we’ll do the unboxing but I’ll share a lot more info.

And what are the camera samples with this one? Because I’ve used it and I’ve made a lot of pointers and definitely I would say both these phones, the X 80 Pro and the Xed are camera-centric smartphones with size optics. So let’s have a look at that. And by the way, guys, both of them are review units. So I don’t know the exact pricing they have marked it out but considering the specs and what hardware it has, the pricing will be sort of a flagship.

Vivo X80 & X80 Pro The Camera Smartphone

I’m assuming. Of course, the Pro will be slightly higher and the X 80 will be slightly lower. Moving to the processor, the X 80 is actually having the latest Diamonds 900 SoC. This is the first time we are seeing the Diamond City 9000 which is the flagship, new flagship from what is a MediaTek in this one. So this one is having that and this one is having the Snapdragon 18.

But this also has one more extra chip and I think some of the images that I’ll show you and even videos came out really good. They have an additional chip which is known as the Vivo V One Plus chip that is used for imaging and AI separately. So it actually has these two chips. So let’s have a look at this. I’ll show you this one later but let’s unbox this Vivo X 80 and again both of them are 5G smartphones guys, you don’t have to worry, and has a lot of 5G bands that are supported.

Vivo X80 & X80 Pro Series

Both of them. Let’s open this up. And of course, this will also come in another color. But this is the new color. I would say it’s more on the green and slight tint of a blue mix of both.

And this one is also having a curved screen and this is nothing, the six-point 78-inch screen. And again so it looks like even on this one we are getting a lot of accessories. So let’s take out for a change. We’re getting a lot of stuff that generally we don’t get extra Type C to type, C to headphones. I’m glad they are including we hardly find any accessories in the box generally with other smartphone vendors.

So nice. At least we will is giving us all we want. And this is a massive 80 Watt fast-charging brick. Both of them, the Pro and the regular get that. So that’s what we have in the box, at least for this one I’ll just keep it to the side and it’s similar for the Expo so at least you get a lot of accessories and this also actually feels nice to hold guys the big difference is this one the regular X 80 is also having Xi’s optics.

In fact, when I went to the people from Zais they are just what do you say Xi’s sticker on this. In fact these lenses were made in collaboration and Zayas also had a lot of effort. Of course, these are Xiao’s optics with the T coating but also in the rear-facing camera which is the highlight I would say. In fact, some of the modes were developed with Ziyas and they have that special. In fact, I’ll show you some camera samples to give you an idea.

So yeah this one is having a triple camera set up whereas the Pro is actually having a quad-camera set up with a five X Periscope lens and front-facing on both is actually 32 megapixel that you are getting and let me do one thing and again both are sort of flagship kind of devices you could say. So let me do one thing. Let me actually quickly just set this up and then we’ll have a look at this one. In fact, this was the X 80 pro. I’ve made a lot of notes so we’ll have a look at this one and certainly for the camera on this one I’ll show you some camera samples and even video this time I think they also concentrated quite a bit on the video so we look at those samples and see what’s it all about.

So guys I have even set up the regular Xad here it is but I won’t go too much over this because I have just set this up but here are all the specs for the X 80. It will be very interesting to see how Vivo prices these smartphones. As I told you as of now I don’t know but I’ll add the pricing details that I know in the description. So let me just keep this X 80 to the side and let’s have a look at this one because a little bit more experience with this one used it for a couple of days and again this is the true flagship. Vivo has put whatever the cutting edge hardware.

They have in this one. In fact, one thing that was very surprising about this smartphone is that if you notice the fingerprint scanner is an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, very responsive. Whereas the regular X 80 is actually having a regular in-display fingerprint as kind of thought it’s accurate. But what I’ve noticed with this one is that I have to say we have seen ultrasonic fingerprint scanners even on Samsung flagship. But here it’s implemented very well. In fact, to register it it is so easy you have to just press it once and it rests of the fingerprint. I thought it was broken. For example, let me actually show you to give you an idea.

As you can see my right hand.

Is registered with the fingerprint. But if I use my left thumb it’s obviously not registered so it will not open. Let’s register it and I’ll show you how quick it is. Some of the small things that I’ve noticed on this one. Again it’s a typical flagship and comes with the Android phone touch that you are having. But if I go to fingerprint, add a fingerprint, let’s add it. I’ll just add my pin and we’ll add one more fingerprint, add fingerprint and.It says to the install, just notice guys. So I’ll say start inputting and you have to press multiple times. But on this one I just take. My thumb and I press it hard.

Once that’s it done it’s registered your fingerprint. So let’s try it. Now with this one I was like why is it not asking me to actually put it multiple times? It’s a very accurate and fast ultrasonic fingerprint test scanner. In fact there is also a secure mode in this one where you can have an area where you can use two of your fingers for unlocking. So again they have gone crazy with the fingerprint scanner. Again, another thing that I’ve noticed is this one. This one has a regular again, both of them having AMOLED screen, 120 Hz. Not to worry about that but this one is a full HD plus whereas it’s a proper two K Street on this one.

The Display Of Vivo X80 & X80 Pro Series Smartphone

This one is actually an E five amulet and we were saying that this is about 25% more power efficient and this is also LTP or screen. That means it can go down from 1 Hz. That’s why even though I was just using it it does not consume and I put it in two K guys, not in the full HD. You can go down to full HD but I’m using it currently with two.So in terms of screen quality, they have put us a good screen. Again, both of them are having that slightly curved screen. Again, I know it’s a personal preference, some people like it or not but both of them are actually having a curved screen. On this one it’s a big four, it’s a six-point 718 screen. And here are all the specs for the X 80 pro. In fact, if you notice it has almost every flagship spec. In fact regarding charging it has a regular 80 Watt fast charging.

Vivo X80 & X80 Pro Details on 2022 |  Smartphone

I’m calling 80 Watts regular they said what’s wrong with me 80 Watt fast charging and also wireless charging is supported up to 50 Watts but you have to use a proprietary what is 50 Watt that special charger for 50 Watt charging but it also does support backward compatible with regular wireless G charging also has stereo speakers at all. One thing again this is having fun touch OS comes out of the box with Android so that’s not a problem but one thing I’m not liking is that though this is a flagship. Again if you notice these are all the Bluetooths that are preinstalled on this phone so at least we should have removed that considering this is a flagship it’s very smooth.

Again this is having a Snapdragon eight Gen one so performance is not an issue. Again it’s what do you say LPDDR five Ram 12GB of Ram so performance is not an issue on this phone and I like left again going to Google pay they have cleaned all that up but bloatware at this price point.

Vivo X80 & X80 Pro Series  | The Camera Compresion

Want to increase the volume this is the Max so as you can see good studio speakers and also you have quite a bit of studio separation on this one so that way they have done it well also now let’s move to the camera because that is what I think is the big highlight of the smartphone and again if you notice at the back we have actually quad camera set up the main camera is a 50 megapixel this has ois and this is having a top of one point 57 which is the main camera then we have 48 megapixels that’s ultra-wide. I’m really happy that they’re going with a high megapixel count for ultra-wide so we have that 48 megapixel F two, two, and the next camera that is there is actually a twelve-megapixel camera but this is having two X portrait mode with the gimbal mode. In earlier some of the Vivo phones, we had that gimbal mode so in the portrait mode with the two X um they have the gimbal mode and lastly this one is the five X Periscope camera. Let me first show you the camera interface here.
